Longhorn Music

Longhorn Music, the recording division of The University of Texas at Austin, hired me over a period to design artwork for their recordings. Their previous designs all had a uniform, academic look & feel—the kind of one-size-fits-all approach that permeated much of classical music over the past several decades. They wanted to move away from these uniform designs, and instead give every recoding it’s own voice. The goal was that each recording would have its own personality, for an end product that feels more commercial and appealing to listeners. I also provided original photography for several recordings.
